BLUE XMAS

People are getting excited to celebrate the season. I am actually filled with material things on my mind like a little child, not until, series of things astounded me to look the picture on a zoom out mode. I passed by places, dirty places here in Iloilo, narrow streets and near sidegates, lots of them i've seen. Vendors trying to make a living, Security gaurd waving to say " pahigad anay may maagi", then i said, "dali lang nong!", Nurses from their night shift and other bystanders. i came across thru different faces. Most seemed happy and delighted. Guess i'm having the oozing joyfulness within me too. It really felt great seeing happy expressions.

I happened to cross the overused gate connecting atrium to San Pablo. It then made me blue. Hungry faces, seemed terrified by sunlight's ray madness. Skin so dark that even a mole could not be notice changing its color. Poor bodies, searching and begging exchange material for food and something to draw down their thirsts. I am terrified too. One begged me, i it made my thought shiver and my heart turned blue. I made him smile and said thank you. Now, at least i have made his christmas better. and not like the song "bluer than blue".
